ATV to Maras and Moray
The Sacred Valley plateau by ATV
Half dayEasyUp to 123,550 m.a.s.l.
About the tour
The plateau between Chinchero and Maras is crossed by dirt roads with almost no traffic, which is exactly why it works so well on an ATV: you move without cars around you, the Verónica glacier in view for most of the ride.
The route reaches Moray, with its concentric circular terraces cut like an amphitheatre, then drops to the Maras salt pans, where over three thousand stepped basins still produce salt from a spring that has run since before the Incas.
A driving briefing is given before departure and you can ride solo or two per vehicle. No previous experience needed.
